The Law Library recently acquired from ProQuest the digitized archives of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP). Nearly 2 million pages of internal memos, legal briefings and direct action summaries from the association’s national, legal and branch offices throughout the United States are now fully searchable online. The library's subscription includes:
International Labor Defense pamphlet on Scottsboro Boys case available in ProQuest NAACP Papers
The NAACP’s Major Campaigns: Education (Brown v. Board of Education); The Voting Rights Campaign, 1916-1950; Fair Housing; Employment; and Armed Forces. Title list.
The NAACP’s Major Campaigns: Scottsboro; The Anti-Lynching Campaign; Criminal Justice; Segregation and Discrimination Complaints; and Responses and Legal Department Files. Title list.
Working case files of the NAACP's general counsel and his Legal Department staff for the period from 1956 - 1972. Title list.
The Law Library also has a small collection of original NAACP reports, documents and publications donated by Professor Larry Gibson. An inventory of that collection is available here.
All course materials, whether photocopied or posted full-text on Blackboard MUST be submitted to the Law Library for copyright clearance. Please email email@example.com as soon as possible for copyright clearance and, if necessary, photocopying.
The Law Library will deliver all materials to be photocopied to the Copy Center for duplication. All printed course packs will be distributed directly to students by faculty or (depending on the size of the packet) placed on the Forms Shelf (outside Suite 280) for students to pick up. Details about course pack distribution (where/when) should be posted on your Blackboard course page.

The HeinOnline ScholarCheck icon will appear in both the search results and on the front page of the case to let you know of law review articles and cases that cite to your document.
HeinOnline's Negative Treatment Indicator, will also indicate the specific court cases that have overturned or reversed the cited decision. Fastcase calls this enhancement the "Bad Law Bot."
