Baltimore should be called the city
of festivals. Every weekend, there seems
to be a different festival in town. This
weekend, Fells Point Fun Fest kicks off for its 46th year. Fells Point Fun
Festival was created by the Preservation Society as a fundraiser against
demolition of the Fells Point community for the purpose of highway
construction. The festival was a
success, and has been held every year since.
Fells Point Fun Festival is a great way to check out what the historic community of Fells Point has to offer. The festival will feature live entertainment, carnival rides, arts and crafts, and a beer garden. Many of the local restaurants and shops will have booths at the festival.
Fells Point Fun Festival
Saturday, October 6th and Sunday October 7th
11AM-7PM
Historical Fells Point (A lot of vendors will be on Thames street, but Broadway will also have vendors, carnival rides, and entertainment.)
