The library has just received it's first shipment of the brand-new, 19th edition of the Bluebook. You'll find the new Bluebook a little longer (while this might not seem like a good thing, the additional length means more examples of citations), and the spiral binding much sturdier. There are some minor changes to various rules, which are detailed in the Preface, as well as some major changes to Rule 18, governing Internet sources.
In addition to the traditional print version ($32.00), you can choose to subscribe to the Bluebook online (a one-year subscription is $32.00; a three-year subscription is $50.00). The online version contains the full content of the Bluebook, and also allows searching and annotations. The library provides copies of the Bluebook in the Reading Room, and in the Writing Center. The call number is KF245.B58 2010.
