Chat Reference Now Available

Have a question about the library or legal research?  Now you can ask us from wherever you are.

For the start of the new school year, the library has a new chat reference service for the UM Law community (all law school students, staff, and faculty).  Just click on the link on the left side of the library's home page or go directly to our chat reference page.

The chat reference service will be staffed by the librarians from 9 a.m. - 8 p.m., Monday - Friday.  If you see that we're temporarily away, it means we're helping someone else, and will be back soon.
