We are pleased to announce the arrival of two new members of the library faculty.
Rachel Hradecky joined the Thurgood Marshall Law Library as the Public Services and Outreach Librarian in August 2010. She takes part in the library’s circulation services; assisting faculty with electronic and print course materials, including copyright clearance; and marketing library services to students, faculty, and alumni.
Prior to joining the library, Rachel spent two years as library staff member at Vedder Price PC, a private law firm in Chicago, Illinois. Rachel is a member of the American Association of Law Libraries.

Jill Smith also joined the library in August and holds the position of Research and Instructional Technology Librarian. Prior to joining the library, Jill spent two years as a legal index editor at BNA and 12 years working in executive relationship management with the NASDAQ Stock Market and in corporate communications for NASDAQ-listed companies.
Jill is a member of the American Association of Law Libraries (AALL), the Special Libraries Association (SLA), and the Law Librarians’ Society of Washington, DC (LLSDC). She is the assistant editor of the LLSDC publication Law Library Lights.
