ProQuest Congressional, a great database for researching federal legislative history, has a new look and feel. Upgrades include:
New homepage: Users may now retrieve an unlimited result set, with the ability to limit search results by date, document type, etc.
New Faceted Results: Arranged by Document Type, Committee, Agency, Subject, Geographic Subject. Include or exclude multiple facets via the “More options” faceting button after retrieving search results
New Advanced Search function now searches all available dates:
Member Profile composite: One-step searching for information on Senators and Representatives from 1985-present includes bills sponsored and co-sponsored, floor statements, campaign finance information and votes. Information includes current and previous Congresses, back to 105th Congress.
