One enhancement enables you to quickly locate a known resource on Lexis Advance. Instead of using “Browse Sources” and looking at a lengthy alphabetical list, you can begin typing the name of the source you want into the default search box, and if it is available on LexisAdvance, it should pop up as an option for you to select. Below, we have begun to type in “Maryland Evidence” and the sources “Maryland Evidence Courtroom Manual” and the “Maryland Evidence Handbook” popped up as options. You can also easily view the Table of Contents for either of these sources by clicking on the link provided. (Click on the images to enlarge).
Another enhancement that helps in locating particular sources is that when using “Browse Sources”, you can now filter the list of sources by practice or topic area and as well as by content type, as shown below.
You can also refine “Browse Sources” to view a list of sources by Jurisdiction or Publisher.
